We are committed to all of our programs & projects. Our Board Members receive ZERO COMPENSATION thus maximizing the money we place back into the community.

Making Communities Better, Inc. was established in 2019 and is a Federal Tax-Exempt Nonprofit Corporation through the IRS, under 501c3 Internal Revenue Code.

WHY WE STARTED OUR NONPROFIT

Like many, we started out our lives in poverty and know a lot of the struggles that come with it. Unfortunately, the number of people in poverty is growing all across America. We have seen how economic hardships impact all parts of life including; physical and mental health, nutrition, clothing, housing, transportation, etc. We struggled with a lot of these situations and understand the major complexities poverty brings to the Communities as a whole.

In 2010, our family went through the unthinkable; we lost our daughter, Leah, shortly after she was born. Soon after Leah passed, we thought we should do something for Baby Leah. We agonized over not knowing her heartbeat slowed while she was still in the womb. If we could have just done something differently or noticed something sooner the outcome could have been different.

In 2019, we decided to get off the sidelines and do something. We felt that even helping one baby, one person, or one family would make a huge difference. We are currently developing campaigns on many issues and believe we could change lives through Making Communities Better, Inc.  The Fetal Doppler Monitor (Dollar$ for Doppler$) and the Children’s Uniforms & Apparel were born out of our personal experiences. So, here we are today, asking for your help so we can assist those in need.
